Makeup Essentials While Traveling

I absolutely love makeup and if I could I would bring every single thing I own on a trip with me I would! Sadly, there is not a big enough suitcase to do that, so here are my makeup essentials that I take with me when I travel to make sure I'm ready for any occasion!
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation

Foundation. I absolutely need to have foundation, my skin tends to be very blotchy and uneven so I use foundation daily to even out my skin. Some people use concealer with a powder but I prefer a foundation.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder

Pressed Powder. In order to avoid dewy or oily looking skin, I use a pressed powder over foundation. The powder provides more coverage and with mattify the foundation leaving a clean even look. If you don't want to carry around foundation and powder, I recommend using only the powder, especially for summer vacations when you want light coverage.

Eyelash Curler. An eyelash curler is essential for getting rid of that tired eye look. Eyelash curlers open up your eyes and make you look more awake, which is a must for traveling. I use an eyelash curler daily to make sure I look more awake.
Loreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner
Eyeliner. I always use a black eyeliner because it can be used for both casual day looks and evening looks depending on how you wear and apply it. I like to use this liquid pencil eyeliner from Loreal because you can apply it to the waterline and smudge it on your eyelids for a look you would usually do with a liquid liner.

Maybelline Quad in Chai Latte
Eyeshadow. It is a sad sad day when I have to leave my eyeshadows behind but like I said before I would need an extra suitcase just for makeup! So look for a quad or palette that is very versatile. Bring eyeshadows that are neutral and can be worn during the day or at night.
Quick Tip!: Make sure to also bring at least one eyeshadow brush. Never use the sponge tip applicators that come with the eyeshadow

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm

Tinted Chap-stick. So you don't have to carry a chap-stick, lip gloss, lip liner, and lipstick with you on your travels just use a tinted chap-stick! It can be used during the day or evening and will keep your lips looking great during your whole trip while giving you come color just as a lipstick would do.

Loreal Voluminous Mascara
Mascara. The most important thing in my makeup bag! Mascara will completely transform your look and whats great about it is you can wear it alone and still look great without eyeliner and eyeshadow. Look for a mascara that gives your lashes length and volume so you only have to carry around one tube of mascara.
